●  Job offer must be for at least one year with a reasonable expectation of extension.

●  Job must be for at least one year with a reasonable expectation of extension.

●  Employer must meet provincial employment standards and wage rates.

●  Applicant must:

●  Be aged 21–59.

●  Have the required qualifications, training, or accreditation for the job.

●  Have valid status in Canada with at least 4 months remaining (if in Canada).

●  Have sufficient settlement funds.

●  Intend to reside permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador.

●  Provide language test results if applying with a TEER 4 or 5 job offer.

International Graduate


This stream targets international graduates with a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) working in Newfoundland and Labrador.

●  Job must be for at least one year with a reasonable expectation of extension.

    ○  Have the necessary qualifications, training, skills, and accreditation to perform the job.

    ○  Demonstrate sufficient settlement funds.

    ○  Intend to reside permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador.

International Graduate Entrepreneur


This stream is for international graduates from Memorial University or College of the North Atlantic who have started or acquired a business in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Eligibility:

●  Graduated from Memorial University or College of the North Atlantic with at least a two-year diploma or degree.

●  Operated a business in Newfoundland and Labrador for at least one continuous year.

●  Have at least 33.3% ownership in the business.

●  Business must be for-profit and meet all legal requirements.

    ○  Be aged 21–59.

    ○  Have a valid PGWP.

●  At least three years of business ownership or senior management experience in the last five years.

●  Business must be for-profit and meet all legal requirements.

    ○  Be aged 21–59.

    ○  Have a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent.

    ○  Submit a business plan and conduct an exploratory visit to Newfoundland and Labrador.
